happy new year

i wish you all the best in 2011 and i hope your dreams and aspirations come true in the new year. thank you for reading butter and brass, and for your thoughtful comments and support.




usually, i can’t wait to pull out my camera while i’m on vacation, but for some reason i was more reserved over the holidays. enjoying all of the small moments with my family and friends. here are a few photos from my break—breathtaking snow, stacked wood ready for the fire, lily pads at the minnesota conservatory, and a curious snow leopard at como park and zoo.

    Wow. As always, your photos are gorgeous. I especially love the snow leopard... I'm a sucker for wildlife (even at the zoo). Magical!

    thanks amy! i love the snow leopard too - he was in hiding and then this little girl put her finger on the glass and he just had to come down and check it out. so beautiful, and so sad. XO
