in photographer andrea diefenbach's series “country without parents—labor migration from moldova,” she captures the heartbreaking reality of the lives of moldovan parents who immigrated to italy for work, to support their families, and the children they left behind.

Cant get over the fact that i just stumbled by chance into your blog today and the first thing i come across are pictures of my country of origin.It's a sad,enourmous issue for Moldova.These kids will never have a childhood and will have a mummy only on the phone now and again.Thank you for posting this!
