feminine workwear

designer billy reid creates the aesthetic of his all-american clothing line from his classic southern roots, hailing from florence, alabama, and combines them with a little bit of the contemporary city. i love the menswear inspired look of the spring 2011 collection, with oversized shirt-dresses to tailored suits with suspenders.

  1. I love the details and texture of the fabrics. This collection makes me yearn for spring weather!

  2. I have been searching for a shirt dress for AGES, but they always tend to just make me look like I forgot to put pants on. This dress with the asymmetrical hem and gathered waist is perfection – more dress than shirt but still the same feel. Thanks for sharing. jennie t.

  4. I love suspenders, they give a special kick to a simple suit and are awesomely functional.
